Fascial research is exploding right now and that’s good news for movement, sports, and fitness enthusiasts! The latest findings in fascia research are filling in the gaps to our previous knowledge-base, explaining more thoroughly WHY some training principles work as well as they do, and HOW we can train our bodies even better.
In this exciting workshop we will discuss some of the basic science of fascia along with current research findings and their practical application to movement, elasticity, stretching, hyper- and hypo- mobility issues, injury recovery, tissue hydration, and pain. Fun and creative movement exercises will be offered throughout the lecture, allowing for integration of this new knowledge into your own body and movement practice. Bring a curious mind, a yoga mat, and maybe a pillow to sit on and a pen and get Fascia-nated by fascia with us!
