NORTH PARK YOGA
North Park Yoga is San Diego’s only LGBT-owned yoga studio, and warmly invites students of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, experiences, and backgrounds. The studio embraces the concepts of body awareness, and body acceptance, in a supportive, non-judgmental teaching environment.
North Park Yoga is a welcoming yoga studio located in the heart of San Diego’s North Park neighborhood. The intention of the studio is to offer a quieter approach to yoga instruction. Classes are slower-paced, alignment-based, with emphasis upon breath, and a comfortable size, allowing for more personalized instruction.
This creates a safer environment for balanced movement, strengthening, and stress release.
North Park Yoga is an alternative for those seeking a more meditative, and contemplative yoga practice. The studio is committed to creating a welcoming space for the dedicated student to cultivate a personal yoga practice. With emphasis upon body mechanics, anatomy, and functional movement, the classes are ideal for runners, hikers, and cyclists, too.
Yoga classes are open to beginning students, as well as experienced practitioners.
